Michiko Nagasaka is an acclaimed journalist and author with several books to her name. After many years of experience in the world of fashion & life style and living in cities as cosmopolitan and different as Tokyo, Paris, New York, and London, she started to see things in a new light and sought a way to express her wish for a better world. Thus, the idea was born to open a concept store that offers beautiful things made to high standards of craftsmanship and explicitly incorporating fair trade principles. She named this concept store "fairy tale select", a name that reflects her two passions, "elegant shopping" and "a sustainable world for our children".
